From 2024: I lost the ability to zoom on stories with the latest update. People I follow put so much tiny text on the screen that I can't read it without zooming. From 2022: Super glitchy all of a sudden. I can't watch stories without them pausing. It won't resume, so I have to go back and then to the story again. When posting anything, if I switch to another app and come back to finish my post, it is gone and locks up. So frustrating! Using Android.

Terrible UI, constant updates with features people don't want, and removing features people enjoy. Alongside that, now, anytime you open the app, your first post is more likely to be an ad rather than an actual post. The tagging system has been broken for months with no signs of being fixed. Plus, the media algorithm is atrocious, constantly recommending media that you have no interest in and won't stop no matter how many times you say uninterested or scroll past or even block the tags for it.

My favorite social media app for sure. But wow the draw backs just keep getting worse. The 4x5 aspect ratio is the most limiting thing. Why not standard 3x2? But the algorithm? Unstable at best. Most creators are getting nowhere. Then the image quality just getting absolutely destroyed on upload. Ive tried a million different settings and it's always getting worse. I could keep going but these are the each a minus star rating point on their own.
